Our bespoke George Dinner at the winery is slowly becoming a tradition, but this event is not just an “ordinary” dinner… Its purpose is to let us experience the power and energy of St. George’s Hill through Gilvesy wines and delicious food, and to spend an unforgettable afternoon and evening together, enjoying the sunset, nature, and each other’s company. 

For us, Lake Balaton is just as wonderful and enchanting in the fall (the light, the fresh air, the magnificent colours of nature!) as it is in the summer. 

We’ll start the evening by the stove with a wine-based cocktail, accompanied, of course, by some appetizers (and a wine or two from Robert’s cellar is sure to make an appearance). This will be followed by a seasonal five-course dinner (appetizer, a meat dish, fish and vegetable-based main courses, and dessert), which we’ll serve in the dining room. István and Réka from B-üzem will "take care" of the food, while Robert will be pouring the wines. During dinner, you’ll have the chance to take part in a surprise activity, and the atmosphere (aside from the company, of course…) will be set by our favorite songs, spun from vinyl! 

After dinner, the “bar” will be open, where you can explore many vintage vintages, treasured bottles, and magnums… followed by conversation, a cozy campfire, music.
