Váradi 2020 Furmint | Organic

This Furmint, grown in nutrient-rich soils, is minerally and salty with an intense, mouth-filling effect. Its honeyed aroma hints at candied fruit, while the aftertaste is dense and spicy.

Unlike Tokaj Furmint, it offers more yellow fruit and white-flower notes, without being heavy or sweet. Bone dry and light in alcohol, it’s fresh and direct on the palate, with a salty, umami finish. The scent recalls fresh hay and a touch of saffron, typical of Furmint. Its complex character promises great aging potential.
