All About Place: GEORGE & Single Vineyard Wines

Identity is the essence of concentrating on the expression of place. GEORGE is a cuvée
of our traditional varieties from our own organically cultivated vineyards. Without the
distraction of identifying with only one variety of grape, you can experience the pure
character of Mount St. George. Always minerals, citrus, and saline, with vibrating acidity
 but with some variations with regard to a particular vintage.

Our single-vineyard wines show, through the lens of a particular grape variety, the
expression of each of our vineyards: Tarányi (south), Váradi (southeast), and Mogyorós
(north). Respecting the centuries-old vinification culture of our region, all our single
 vineyards spend some of their maturation in larger-format, mature barrels.
